For too long, many of us have been taught that passion is extra—a hobby for weekends, something you squeeze in when “real work” is done. But what if that thinking is exactly what’s holding you back from the life you want?
When I walked into my aunt’s showroom as a young girl, captivated by stunning wedding cakes and dresses, something inside me lit up. That spark didn’t fade, but it took decades—and a deep mindset shift—to believe that passion could be more than a pastime. It could be a path to significance, legacy, and sustainable income.
Here’s the truth: passion isn’t the opposite of professionalism. Passion fuels innovation, resilience, and impact.
In my work as a Transition Coach, I’ve seen it over and over—women and men who stay stuck because they’ve bought into the myth that turning passion into purpose-led work is risky, impractical, or selfish. But I’ve also witnessed the transformation that happens when people stop asking, “Is this possible for me?” and start declaring, “This is what I’m called to build.”
Making this shift isn’t about abandoning all you’ve built. It’s about aligning your skills, experience, and dreams to create work that matters—to you and to the world. It’s about moving beyond the limiting belief that passion is optional.
So I ask: What mindset shift do you need to make today to move passion from the margins of your life to the centre of your impact?
Your passion deserves structure. It deserves strategy. It deserves to be seen as the powerful force it is—not just a hobby.
That’s why I created the “𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥”, 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧. It’s designed to help you kick-start your journey by guiding you through the reflective process. It certainly helped me.
